Bible
The Holy Bible is God's Word

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be competent and equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

One GOD in three divine persons.
The Triune God (Trinity)
  • And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him, and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:16–17)
  • Best described by Paul as... The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus
Jesus Christ is true God and true Man.
  • Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’). (Isaiah 7:14)
  • For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. (Isaiah 9:6-7)
  • For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. (1 Timothy 2:5-6)
  • Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a divine person of the Godhead.
  • God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and his Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. May God give you more and more grace and peace. (1 Peter 1:2)
  • And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. (1 John 4:13)
  • Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. (John 3:6)
Humanity
God created humanity in His image but willfully chose to sin.
  • So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)
  • However, from the beginning of creation, 'God made them male and female.' (Mark 10:6)
  • When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break. Still, everyone died—from the time of Adam to the time of Moses—even those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as Adam did. Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ, who was yet to come. (Romans 5:12-14)
The New Birth
Salvation

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16

The Rapture
Second Coming of Jesus Christ

'For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.'

1 Thessalonians 4:14-18

The Great Commission

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Church
The church is composed of those called by God and received Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
  • Body of Christ and individual members of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27)
  • Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. (Matthew 16:18)
  • For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” (Matthew 18:20)
  • All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)
  • But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)
Our purpose is to fulfill the will of GOD.
Jesus said...

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 7:21
